What is Rotary?
Rotary brings together community leaders from all continents, cultures, and occupations to share their ideas for making the world a better place. By combining their distinct skills and expertise, Rotary members are tackling some of the world's most pressing problems - from local initiatives like feeding the hungry to global efforts like eradicating polio.
It all begins at the weekly club meetings, where members catch up with friends, hear what's happening in the community, and organize club activities and service projects. It's a fun way to connect with local business leaders who share a passion for community service.
Leadership
"My favorite thing about Rotary is that it's an efficient use of my time. In a matter of 75 minutes, I'm having lunch, creating new friendships, making new business contacts, familiarizing myself with community happenings, and learning about global events. Rotary is an excellent opportunity to connect and discover - all while enjoying time with an interesting group of people."
The heart of Rotary is our clubs - dedicated people who share a passion for both community service and friendship. Whether you are starting your career or are an experienced professional, there are many ways Rotary can help you become a better leader.
What does it take to be a leader with Rotary? Integrity, expertise, and a commitment to service - all the qualities that make Rotary members extraordinary. We look for these qualities in our leadership positions, including our local elected President and Board members, as well as the International leaders. Learn more at the Rotary International website.
